Candyce is a native of Washington, D.C. Her love for horses began at five years old when her mother took her and her brother on trail rides. She graduated from Liberty University in 2003 with a B.S. in Biology and is pursuing national certification as an interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing. She has been involved with EQUI-KIDS since 2007, volunteering in lessons as a side-walker, horse leader, and team leader. Candyce earned her PATH, Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor certification in June of 2015, and the program allows her to combine her life-long love of children, teaching and horses.
