EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Virginia Beach, VA, hosted its Win a Cool Grand Raffle with a grand prize of $1,000 for the lucky winner. The ticket was drawn during our 7th Annual Stall Ball on November 23, 2013 and the grand prize winner is Mrs. Beth O’Toole, Vice President of Operations at Chartway Federal Credit Union.

EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Virginia Beach, VA, held its 7th Annual Stall Ball on November 23, 2013. With record attendance of over 700 people, EQUI-KIDS is delighted to announce that the event raised more than $130,000 to support program services that benefit the special needs community.

EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program is honored to receive a generous $2,500.00 gift from The Miller Oil Foundation. This investment will be used to support our fall 2013 therapeutic lesson session for individuals with disabilities, enabling EQUI-KIDS to serve nearly 90 riders each week.

EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program hosted its 19th Annual Golf Open on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Bayville Golf Club in Virginia Beach. With a sellout tournament of 120 players, this annual signature event raised $47,835 to support the organization’s mission to provide services to individuals with disabilities. The Golf Open also featured team photos with EQUI-KIDS’ Horse Hopper, a silent auction and raffle prizes!

EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program is excited to launch its 2013 Hay for a Day fundraising campaign to support our therapeutic riding horses and ponies. Each of EQUI-KIDS’ horses and ponies is a therapeutic specialist, and together they provide thousands of hours of service to the disabled community. Horses need hay as part of their daily diet to build strong bones and muscles; enabling them to work hard throughout the day to serve individuals with disabilities.

Through a generous grant by the We Promise Foundation, EQUI-KIDS will be able to provide full scholarships to 40 children with disabilities so that they may participate in the program’s therapeutic riding sessions.
