10th Annual EQUI-KIDS Cross Country Run 5K

Join us as we celebrate the 10th Annual 5K Cross Country Run,
featuring the 1-Mile Run with the Hounds and 1/2 Mile Pony Run for the kids!

EVENT DESCRIPTIONS:

CROSS COUNTRY 5K
Run or walk one of the only 5k Cross Country courses in Hampton Roads that winds through the wooded trails and around the property of EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program’s 92-acre facility.

Awards will be given to the top three overall and top three by age category.

RUN WITH THE HOUNDS!
Keep pace with your favorite four-legged canine in our signature 1-mile Run with the Hounds race! The course traverses the wooded trails and cleared property of our facility. All dogs must be on leashes in order to complete. Awards will be given to first place overall, followed by top three in dog weight classes.

PONY RUN FOR THE KIDS
This run is for children 12 and under and their families. Each runner will receive a goody bag and prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place overall finishers.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

All run registration/check-in opens at 6:45AM
Registration closes at 7:30AM
1/2 Mile Pony Run begins at 8:00AM
5k Cross Country Race begins at 8:20AM
1 Mile Run with the Hounds begins at 9:15AM
Following the runs we have food, refreshments and fun for everyone!

PARTICIPATION FEES:

CROSS COUNTRY 5K
$25 on or before May 5
$30 on or before May 11
$35 May 12 (day of event)

RUN WITH THE HOUNDS
$25 on or before May 5
$30 on or before May 11
$35 May 12 (day of event)

1/2 MILE PONY RUN FOR KIDS
$10 flat entry fee
Ages 12 and under race
Parents may run with their child for free

**RUNNERS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IN CROSS COUNTRY 5K AND RUN WITH THE HOUNDS MUST PAY FOR EACH RACE AND WE DO HAVE A COMBINED FEE FOR BOTH RACES**

We accept check and credit card payments. Checks are to be made payable to EQUI-KIDS.
FIRST 200 REGISTRANTS GET A FREE TECH T-SHIRT!

PAYMENT INFORMATION:

Participants are encouraged to sign up online at ACTIVE.COM
Participants may also fax their form to us at 721-7354 to hold their registration; however, they must mail in their registration form and payment with original signature. All faxed registrations must have payment received by May 4.
