The Miller Oil Foundation Supports Special Needs Individuals
EQUI-KIDS Therapeutic Riding Program is honored to receive a generous $2,500.00 gift from The Miller Oil Foundation. This investment will be used to support our fall 2013 therapeutic lesson session for individuals with disabilities, enabling EQUI-KIDS to serve nearly 90 riders each week.
“The Miller Oil Foundation is thrilled to be supporting EQUI-KIDS in their mission to assist as many special needs children as possible this fall. We continue to be impressed with how EQUI-KIDS helps children to physically, mentally, and emotionally break through their preconceived boundaries. The professional and friendly staff is a great example of how a dedicated handful of people can make a difference in hundreds of lives,” commented Lindsay Prior, Executive Director of The Miller Oil Foundation.
EQUI-KIDS is able to offer lessons throughout the year to students — thanks to the continued support of organizations like The Miller Oil Foundation. “The Miller Oil Foundation continues to support our mission to provide services to individuals with special needs,” commented Jill Haag, EQUI-KIDS’ Executive Director, “It is because of their sustained investment that we are able to provide our participants an experience where their ability outshines their disability.”
